My name is Charles Thompson and I have been plumbing for over 10 years. I started learning the trade with my cousin who has been plumbing since the early 80’s doing residential service work in Oklahoma. After working with him I joined the Plumber’s and Pipefitters Union Local 344 and started taking plumbing classes in the evening and doing commercial plumbing during the day. Because of my association with the union, I learned many aspects of plumbing many plumbers never get the chance to learn. Everything changed for the better when a woman I dated in my early 20’s called me out of the blue and asked me to come to Tampa so she could buy me a birthday dinner.That progressed into me moving to Tampa and marrying the lady at the end of 2019. Shortly after, I started studying for a plumbing license in Florida. Covid had the effect of slowing down the licensing process. In January 2021, I started Plumbgreat Plumbing.
