Structural failure within the chimney sections of manholes has become part of a growing concern for municipalities. New EPA regulations are being implemented and enforced. cMOM is a Provision of the Clean Water Act Regulating Sanitary Sewer Overflows (SSOs). cMOM will affect every collection system in the US regardless of the size of the system by implementing an NPDES permit.
