If you need an experienced plumber in Columbia, MO, and the nearby areas to deliver flawless trenchless services, we are here to help. ADVANTAGES OF TRENCHLESS SERVICES Our trenchless services have gained popularity over conventional methods, and for good reasons. First, the process is efficient. Instead of digging out the pipes to inspect and repair them, we use one entry point to insert a specialized camera into the pipeline, giving us a live feed of the situation underground. After that, our experts use the same entry to clean the clogs and perform the necessary fix. The process also saves you hard-earned money. You will no longer have to pay for labor to dig out the lines and restore your yard afterward. Since our work only takes a day or two, depending on the extent of damage, you don’t have to take much time off your regular schedule. Since we bought our home, I looked for a homegrown plumbing company that would respond to a call out ASAP. Being new to the area we decided to do business with Brian Wear. That was 2016. Since then Wear plumbing has been called out to our home @ least 4 times. Every call out was prompt with plumbers that knew their trade and did it very well. Today was no different. Bob and Brandon came out. Called me to tell me they were on their way. Bob showed up as he said right on time diagnosed the problem, as well as a few extra's I didn't realize needed to be done. Wonderful workmanship in a timely manner. We can always depend on Wear plumbing to show up and do what's needed in a timely manner..........

I have never had a worse customer service experience than the incredibly rude woman we spoke to at the front desk after the tech came out to our house, didn't perform any service, and tried to charge us. I'm assuming it was Brian's wife, who was rude at the front desk by the way Brian responded. He said: "I suggest you find someone willing to work for free, good luck." No service was performed, Brian. Not sure what we are paying for. I'm sure Brian is going to respond to this review as he has for other bad reviews saying things like "well you're a liar" or "we do good work, just look at our other reviews." Don't listen to them. Pretty sure they are deleting reviews. If you see my husband's review he says we were "giving him the runaround." We paid him 3 days after the tech came out, just to clear that up. What happened: We called to schedule an appointment for someone to come out and diagnose our toilet and shower leak so we could give the diagnosis to our home warranty company. Our home warranty requires that we send them the diagnosis before beginning work or they won't reimburse us. I specifically stated that all I needed was a diagnosis of the issue by a licensed individual so that I could take that information to my home warranty company to see if they would cover any work that may be required.  We were told the diagnosis would cost $80. The tech came out on March 22nd and said he WOULD have been able to diagnose the issue for the $80 if we had the toilet removed and had cut a hole in the ceiling before he arrived. They didnt inform us of that when we booked and it would now be close to $400 for the diagnosis to cut the drywall and move the toilet. They also couldnt just take the toilet off, they had to fix it that day which we didnt want because of the Home Warranty. He left without doing anything. We called seeing if they could come out after we removed the toilet and cut the hole and they said it would be another $80, even though nothing was done the first time. $160 total isn't the problem, and we would have used them for the service after the home warranty approved it. We also would have paid 2 service fees if needed....if they had responded kindly when we called. The problem is the manager of the front desk accused us of scamming them and said she was tired of dealing with us. It had been 2 days since the tech came out and we hadn't ever talked to her, she had just heard we called in. She then became angry that we gave their number to the home warranty company, which we didn't. The home warranty company must have found them on google. This all could have been avoided if they would have just told us how much it was to get a diagnosis upfront and kept level headed when we asked what the next steps were. She could have pleasantly said no to the tech coming back out for the orginal fee, but she chose to be incredibly rude. I understand losing us as customers is a small loss, but in Columbia, word of mouth is everything to a small business like yours.

We had our home serviced for an issue about a week and a half ago. Both guys were great and went above and beyond. Brian sent one of his guys out to us on Easter weekend and did not charge to clear a clog in the bathtub that must of been overlooked originally and we didn’t notice as that bathroom is only used by guests. The service was quick, effective and for no additional charge. I donated $25 to dancing with the stars on Brians behalf for charity. Hope others will read this and use Brian Wear Plumbing as their go-to plumbing service.

I asked for a leak to be diagnosed in my home and was told that there would be an $80 service fee to have the tech assess the situation, which is completely fine. When he arrived, he took a quick look at the toilet and shower and said he wouldn't be able to determine the cause without removing a toilet and cutting a hole in the drywall, incurring fees that added up to nearly $400. I declined the service and told him I'd remove the drywall and toilet myself and call them back. Since no service was provided and I planned to have them return to do that service, I called to see if they would require me to pay a second service charge at the time of the return visit. When they said yes I tried to plead my case, and was told that they would discuss a path forward and call back. Upon my next call in to the company to see what their decision was, I had the terrible luck of being put into contact with their customer service "supervisor". I was told by this representative that I had made both her and my service technician "very unhappy" and she openly accused me of trying to give them "the run-around". I emailed Brian directly regarding the situation and asked what he thinks a path forward would entail and received an email that read, ver batim "I suggest you find someone willing to work for free apparently, good luck." My intention was never not to pay them for service at my home, but no service was provided on their first visit. I had every intention of working with Brian Wear Plumbing because they have so many positive reviews, but I can honestly say I have never experienced worse customer service in my life.

Absolutely the most skilled and professional service I have ever received from any in-home maintenance provider. Brad was top notch -answering my endless stream of questions. It was clear that he had extensive knowledge and experience in the plumbing field. Even when they kept running into obstacles clearing the main drain, they became creative with trying to solve the problem which saved me from needing more extensive and costly work done. I’ve had Roto Rooter out several times to fix clogged pipes and they were not as thorough and detailed orient as Brian Wear. Very glad that I found them.

Brendan did an excellent job, he educated me and entertained me while he unclogged my sink. He also recommended and sold me a product called ENDURE which will keep me from having grease buildup in the pipes again. I gave him a brownie, and a hug when he left! 😉

B.J. and Josh were efficient and professional. The price even came in below their estimate (which was welcome). Their solution to the problem with older plumbing and my wishes was marvelous and inspirational. Everything is fine now. Jim

This company is absolutely fantastic. They were able to show up within an hour of my call. They were very detailed in assessing the problem with my water heater and explained every option to solve the issue. We decided to purchase a new water heater instead of throwing money at the old one. They immediately had a new water heater delivered from the shop and installed the new one very efficiently and explained everything to us. I would highly recommend this plumbing company and Bob and Darrell were so kind and polite and extremely knowledgeable. I would give them 10 stars. Very happy customer here! Thank you

I needed a skilled plumbing crew with a camera and a rotary root chopper to unstop my sewer lateral. Brian's guys came just in time, before the sewage could reach across the floor and ruin the carpet. They unstopped my plumbing problem. I am profoundly grateful for their expert assistance.

I only wish I could give 10 stars for the best service from a plumbing company we've received in the 36 years of being homeowners in Columbia. I got a recommendation from my neighbor for Brian Wear Plumbing. She's used Brain Wear Plumbing for years and has always talked about what great service they provide so when I found our water heater leaking I called Brian Wear Plumbing immediately and they were out the next day. They gave me a price up front and I paid they price the quoted. They were in and out in less than 3 hours and explained/showed to me everything they did. I cannot thank Brian Wear Plumbing enough and we've now found a new plumbing company for our future plumbing needs!!

Brian Wear Plumbing came late afternoon on a Saturday to assess a hot water heater issue. They installed a new unit in a tight space. It required some problem solving and extended time to get it right. They stuck with it until we were satisfied. Mr. Wear communicated personally with us several times, the plumbers he sent to do the work were polite, capable and respectful. We appreciate the service we received and recommend Brian Wear Plumbing without hesitation.

Brad and Brandon came to fix our water heater as it was spewing water like a sprinkler. They were very courteous, professional and service oriented. They replaced the old heater with the new and left the area dry and spotless. They came back the next day to fix air blockade issues in couple of sinks. We are very happy with the service and quality of job.

We had a pipe burst due to cold weather. They were able to squeeze us into the schedule and get our pipe repaired quickly. Even letting us know that the mitigation team needed to come back and remove wer insulation that they had missed in the area. Gave is great advice on how to keep the area warm so that it wouldn't happen again and the repair job looked incredibly professional. It was very nice working with them and we will be using them again.

From start to finish, I had an excellent experience with Brian Wear Plumbing. Overall I had a good experience and would use them again. Ethan was a nice guy, on time (actually early), explained everything in simple terms, and was thorough. He fixed everything my hard water would allow him to fix (just couldn’t get the tub knob off-but he tried), therefore I am happy to be able to use our shower and toilet again. I do think $129 service call for a 13 mile drive is pretty steep, but otherwise I am satisfied. The lady who answered the phone was also really nice and helpful.

Called Brian Wear Plumbing and got me in right away. Quentin came to the house and he was very polite. He was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had about the issues we were having. Thank you so much Quentin! Will definitely use them again in the future. Update: Today we had Ethan and he was just as knowledgeable and polite as Quentin. Went above and beyond with his work. Thank you Ethan!
