Many thanks to Clay Komos, the technician who installed our new faucet for us. Despite discovering our supposed “new” faucet was actually used and put back on a store shelf, Clay finished up the job early the next morning, after we obtained a replacement. We needed a very old kitchen faucet replaced and a slow drain resolved in a bathroom. We feel very fortunate that Vincent was our technician. Not only was he very pleasant but he was also very knowledgeable. We picked his brain on other projects such as adding a water softening system. Vincent did both jobs impeccably, cleaning along the way. He went beyond our expectations. You get what you pay for and we were happy to pay for Vincent's services. We have new sinks! 6 months later After having our condo completely remodeled, we called Gold Star again to educate us about a whole house water softening system and provide an estimate. Vincent again was our technician and he had scoped out the water softening options at his previous visit since he knew we had an interest. He came prepared with photos of our plumbing which he had taken on his first visit, and various options, which he clearly explained to us. We made our choice and Vincent and his apprentice, James went to work immediately and we had our system in place the same day! It is obvious that Vincent takes great pride in his work and we appreciate that. I also appreciated that both men wore booties, to help keep our floors clean. Gold Star is very professional and if you can get Vincent, I highly recommend him.

Called to schedule an appointment for a leaky toilet at our office, Vincent was here 15 minutes later. Toilet was fixed within 30 minutes of me calling to schedule an appointment. Goldstar just rescued my renters, by solving a series of problems with their/our residential waste water pump system. Their plumber Clay went right after the root cause. He found the breaker for the pump had tripped. Then uncovered a heavy wooden pit cover. After hosing off the pump to find the pump access cover, He put on almost knee high boots, checked the depth, and dropped into 18” of messy water of the pit to examine the pumps electrical and mechanical operation. Not long after…, the jammed float was corrected, tested, pump cleaned inside and out and problem solved. Clay even bucketed most of the excess surrounding water of the pit back into the pump to dispose of it properly. He then inspected our water meter and toilet flaps to determine there were no leaks. The plumber’s extra efforts were outstanding and Goldstar charged me the standard service fee. I kid you not. I’m a regular homeowner and was not pressured to buy anything. Happy happy customer in these difficult expensive times.

I found Gold Starr by looking up best plumbers in Preskett. They had an excellent BBB rating and many excellent reviews. Clay came out first evaluated the situation and the next day. I had a crew of two with Jose and Rich. They were quick efficient and very clean. The whole experience of having water damage in my house was excellent with this company. Thank you so much for such wonderful people and such a wonderful company.

Vincent installed a new kitchen sink, disposal and filtration system for us on 2/22/24. He was friendly, professional and exceedingly efficient. He was informative in his field and was able to diagnose a potential problem with a specific part of the installation/plan, saving us money and time. We appreciate the awareness, honesty and problem solving attributed to such. The final result was of high quality and we're grateful we received someone of his caliber to perform the job. He left his workstation tidied and didn't leave a trace. He even removed the large cardboard boxes from the products we ordered that had been laying around prior to our appointment. He didn't have to do so, it wasn't his responsibility or obligation. Small things make a difference. Thank you Vincent! We are currently remodeling and this was the 4th time we have reached out to Gold Star to help us with a project. Previously they helped with our bathroom overhauls and a tankless water heater. We have had absolutely zero problems with anything they have serviced or constructed for us. Gold Star exemplifies everything you look for in a skilled professional service.
