Jake and his assistant came to our "rescue"! Our hot water tank exploded. They were at our home within a couple hours of calling them. I chose Shelton Plumbing from all the excellent reviews I read. They are truly phenomenal. There are only positive comments to say about their work (from start to finish), professionalism, punctuality and knowledge. We will definitely call them again with any plumbing needs! Highly recommend.

We had a minor issue with a shutoff valve in which it needed to be replaced. The location of the valve was up in the ceiling, and we were hoping to have it moved to a much easier location, but there were no options according to the plumber. He replaced the valve, and was gone in less than 30 minutes. All of our plumbing needs have been done by Shelton Plumbing, and always have been great experiences.

These people are the best!! I had many issues that others couldn't fix and they did it in under an hour! They came quickly, were extremely friendly, professional and amazing at their job! They are following up with other options that I can take to improve my sewer lines even more that fit my budget. There is no doubt in my mind that I will recommend them to everyone I know and they will always be my first call for problems. If you have issues call them first!

10 Stars! Seems like we only call Shelton Plumbing when it’s dire… Again, the attention to our urgency for a now leaking 50 year old main valve was unbelievable! I left a message of some urgency and emailed a few pictures to Shelton’s online email address early Saturday for a “wet” 3/4” main valve in our kitchen, but an hour later it was on a steady drip. I called, left another message, more urgent than the first, and within 20” Sarah returned the call, asked a few questions, commented on the pictures, and said, “ Mike is finishing a job near you, he’ll be there within 15”. Mike pulls in, assesses our pending disaster, and says, “This needs replaced now, it won’t make it through the weekend… let me tell you what needs done, how much it will cost, and, if you agree, I’ll repair it right now… “. He explained that Shelton’s has a very clear pricing policy, no hidden fees, no extra charges because it’s a Saturday… this price will be the same on Monday, but this valve won’t make it that long…same with the service fee for me to come here right now, they’re not charging you extra cause it’s an emergency job…or would have been, if you waited…”. I signed immediately and he called a colleague to help him out so that, “another guy has to bring me a fitting I don’t have on my truck, we’ll do this job together, get you your water back on sooner, and you and your family will sleep better tonight this disaster is over…that’s my job, I’m not leaving until done right, your water is on, and your happy… a moment later, Mike commented, “it’s one of the reasons I work for Shelton’s… great company, great people… believe in providing for the community and their employees…”. I already signed, Mike didn’t have to sell himself or the job… I replied, “Josh Shelton and his dad were here years ago, we were their second trench-less pipe repair job, big job, big crew, 100% professional all day long.” Mike, Todd, and then Denny a bit later finished the job together… making small work out of a three-part repair. The new brass valve had to be fitted to my stub of a copper pipe inches above the concrete, inside a bench-seat cabinet, made it all legal, to Westmoreland code with a new backflow valve, fitted to a stub of 3/4” Pex feeding the house and a barn, plus getting a new expansion tank fitted in a tight cubby above a large hot water tank… Mike did that while Todd went to get a valve fitting; Denny came later to assist and clean-up. Denny commented, “not sure if you remember me, I was here for that big trenchless job… I was at the shop this morning, saw your photos, called Sarah, said, “ I know these people, that house… our 2d trenchless job years ago… call them back, send someone over, or I’ll go myself, that valve ain’t gonna make it til Monday… I was putting parts in a box, based on your pictures when Sarah called back to tell me Mike was already on his way…”. That’s SERVICE! My eternal thanks to Mike, Todd, Denny, and Sarah, for stopping a pending disaster on a freezing Saturday, as quickly and efficiently as possible. In fact, this “emergency job” cost less than the quoted estimate of just replacing the valve from another plumber ( local, much smaller), a year or so prior when I noticed the valve was “ frosty” green, but absolutely dry. Shelton’s bailed us out twice now! Thank you!
