I had no running water, and I was desperate for help. Drains by James always answered my calls with a real, live person, who listened attentively to my problem and dispatched people to help me resolve it with hours. All the employees we dealt with demonstrated genuine care and concern every step of the way. They were honest and upfront about costs, and they did the job on time for exactly the price they said they would do it for. The quality of the work is also exceptional. You just get the feeling with these guys that they understand you are in a difficult situation, that they are going to find a way to fix your problem, and that they aren't leaving until they do fix it. It was so reassuring, considering that we had significant repairs that they had to first identify and then begin to make, to know that they were experts who had done this work before and were going to get everything in proper order. I will never call anyone but Drains by James for all of my drain needs! #drainsbyjamesfansforlife!

I flushed the glade thing that goes in toilet bowl along with the plastic holder down and was so worried about the costs of a plumber. I called a plumbers office told them the story they said oh ok just call drains by James. It was about 215 dollars and took them less than five minutes to snake the toilet they were super concerned if any mess was left and nope not a mess. If you have kids n toddlers as well keep their number in speed dial.

Drains by James was at my house this morning. I can’t say enough about how great the service was.The tech was punctual ( even early).Answered my questions, worked quietly and efficiently. 15 year Problem was handled in 45 min. I was very impressed with the fact that the office sent messages letting me know when the tech was on my way along with his name. Thank you to the pleasant office staff and to Sam! Highly recommened.

My kitchen sink was backed up and after we tried all we knew we had to call a plumber. I made an appointment somewhere else but because the person was so rude on the phone I canceled the appointment and was glad to find Drains By James. Wally showed up to fix the problem and was timely, pleasant and neat. In about 30 minutes the issue was fixed and for under $300! I would not hesitate to use them again!

This was a 5 star experience!!!!! The receptionist was extremely professional who listened to my predicament. She sent me a very professional and knowledgeable tech to tackle the problem. Mike showed up and found the issues. I had been anxious as the conclusion of many plumbers was to open the walls of my newly remodeled bathroom. In the end, all needed was a toilet replacement. Had a issue with outside drain which was clogged. I discovered this on Sunday morning before a snow storm. I called @ 9am and tech was here(Boston) @ 10:30am. He quickly diagnosed the issue and unclogged the drain. The fix also came with a 30 guarantee with no cost if other repair is necessary. Could not be happier with the fast, polite, and high quality service which was provided.

I called Drains by James on a Sunday during a Northeaster storm. Our main sewage line was blocked, and nothing was leaving our home. They were able to get someone to the house within a couple of hours with all of the right knowledge and equipment, and they cleared right through it. They were friendly, skilled and prompt. I cannot thank these guys enough. After a catastrophic week at work and just days away from having our first baby, our kitchen sink started to back up. A look in the basement revealed leaking water and corroding pipes in multiple areas. Our plumber was busy and recommended to reach out to Drains by James and he spoke very highly of them and he wasn't wrong. The reception got me booked quickly and Nelson came out first for the initial trip and diagnosed the issue. He was on time, super professional, and so kind. I explained our time crunch with the baby just around the corner and he was so very helpful. He quickly contacted Mark and Brandon, their repair team, who came out less than 48 hours later and got the job done. The price was very reasonable given the scope and time demands of the situation. Mark and Brandon were both also very kind and professional and helped us out in such a bind. They even cleaned up and swept afterwards! Everything seems to be running just fine now, and they have a one year warranty on the work. I couldn't be more thankful!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Drains by James to resolve a blockage in my air conditioning condensation drain line. I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional service I received from this company. Nelson and Santiago, the two technicians who worked on my project, were outstanding. We had an emergency back up to our main line in our south end brownstone that multiple other plumbers and drain cleaners could not clear. It was a really complex issue that the first technician from James tried hard to solve before calling in more senior staff members (Mark and Brendan) who came on time bright and early on a Saturday over Labor Day weekend and worked until 7pm that night to resolve the clog and provide a plan to improve our system to avoid similar issues. We were really impressed by their responsiveness, experience, hard work and dedication and they will be our go to in the future. Thank you!!!
