About Hi-Tech Plumbing & Leak Detect

Count On Your Job Being Done Right Serving Greater Oklahoma City Including Edmond, Bethany, The Village, Nichols Hills, and Oklahoma City Trenchless Pipe Rehabilitation Our trenchless pipe rehabilitation is designed to rehabilitate most any damaged concealed pipe, we would ever encounter. We cover this territory in the following two categories: sanitary & potable.   Most customers have not imagined how a drain line is repaired. The water that drains from each faucet, travels to a larger drain located under the concrete slab floor. In the event the drain line has a collapse, the concrete floor “used to require a jack-hammer and busted out” to perform repairs. That was then.   NOW, with the technology available by Hi-Tech Plumbing & Leak Detect, the drain line can be repaired by cleaning the line and installing a liner that runs inside the pipe, that covers the hole or collapsed area. Though each job is different, 75% of drain lines can be repaired using a trenchless method listed below:   Our Trenchless Pipe Rehabilitation is designed to rehabilitate most any damaged concealed pipe, we would ever encounter. We cover this territory in the following 2 Categories:   SANITARY We use a variety of techniques depending on the problem to repair the primary waste lines in residential homes, apartments and commercial businesses. The most common method we use is the “pull in place” method. We use special proprietary tools to clean the existing Cast Iron, PVC or Orangeburg Pipe. We then prepare a liner measured for the section of pipe that has failed. Next, we prepare and pull the new liner into the existing pipe and allow it to cure. We then pull and discard the old bladder. For the final, we clean and polish the newly lined pipe. In most cases, we can repair drain lines under the concrete slabs in homes, under driveways, patios and pool deck without a need to access the concrete slab.   POTABLE We use a variety of techniques depending on the problem to repair the pipes supplying the drinkable water supply into the residential home, business or apartment. We use a proprietary cleaning method to clean the old rust and scale from the old galvanized, copper or metallic water pipes. We then prepare and purge the system with an epoxy coating that restores the existing piping.   For systems with PVC, POLY or PEX tubing we have other relining methods available. Ask for further details. In most cases, we can repair the POTABLE water distribution under the concrete slab, concealed in walls and underground, without a need of access to the majority of the system.

Both Lindsey & Michael were excellent. They went through things step by step with us and identified some roots that had grown through gaps in PVC. Michael did the camera scope of our system and gave us options for correction. We look forward to having them back and completing the repairs. Note: If you are looking for cheap, keep looking, but if you are wanting knowledge and reliability, Hi-tech will be a good choice. Note 2: send your children to plumbing or electrician school. Forget 4 years to become a welfare worker.

Michael ran the camera down the pipe but could only go so far. He made a recommendation to me about another test that could be performed if I have this problem again. I like that another option was recommended but no sales pressure. He was very courteous. I have always been happy with Hi Tech Plumbing. I highly recommend them

Josh did a thorough inspection of the property. He answered every question and offered helpful information during the entire process. He was incredibly kind during a difficult situation and gave me much relief as we ended up not having a slab leak, which is wonderful. I would use Josh again for anything plumbing. Thank you Josh ! From , A Very Happy Client

Outstanding Company! Prompt and easy getting a technician to come ready to assess and repair any plumbing issue. The times they have done plumbing work in my 40+ year old condo, it has been quality plumbing work. They are priced in the middle, not the cheapest (inferior work) and not the most expensive! Quality work by well qualified plumbers. We now have three new toilets and a new faucet on our kitchen sink with new shut of valves. I highly recommend them to anyone experiencing plumbing issues.

When we called High-Tech Plumbing, they responded right away despite that day being the coldest so far this January. Billy Lewis came immediately and realized how complex this work would be. My son's house is old (built in 1935), still Billy reassured us that he would handle it. He was extremely polite and kind. All together it took him 2 weeks of back and forth to complete the job. He remained extremely professional and courteous, despite a few setbacks. I recommend him for any plumbing jobs, having full confidence in his abilities and his good work ethic.

Updating to a 3 star after this debacle. While in the midst of trying to get our pipes replaced, the plumber said he noticed we had a three handle nozzle on our shower and would we like a one-handle. We said sure. I can admit to having h agreed to it, but they did not even install it correctly. We’ve had two professionals out since who have told us this nozzle will fall off after enough use because it literally isn’t attached to anything. 🥴 and it cost us $1500! Just the shower handle plus labor for it!!! A max $200 shower handle cost us over half of our whole hill with these guys. I’ve emailed about getting a refund and haven’t heard back so will be calling soon. Save your money. **** What a lifesaver you guys are! We had a pipe burst and make a huge mess. Arren was so quick to come and help us out. So kind and helpful. We really appreciate Hi Tech!

Kael Hayes provided great installation service today. Upon arrival this morning he spent time explaining his plan of service. Throughout the installation he would come to a place he would explain what he needed to do and why. He was professional and pleasant. He listened to our questions. My wife and I are pleased with his work.

Brian Owens is a true professional at his trade. He arrives when he says and makes good estimates on time to complete the project. He was efficient and thorough in the annual plumbing review. The plumbing fixes he made were done in a way to make any future work easier and more accessible. Jason came out to do initial check on furnace that had stopped heating. He diagnosed it as the blower motor going out. He was pretty quick about it. Friendly and helpful.

Although we turned our water off while traveling, our pipes still froze in the recent cold weather. We have great confidence in Hi-Tech Plumbing here in Edmond. Our technician, Erick Munoz, was absolutely wonderful! He was determined to fix the problem, which was no easy task. Erick was professional, thorough, and exceptionally skilled. He made great recommendations for us moving forward and took the extra time to answer all our questions. Michael, the team lead, took the time to call us twice today to talk through the problem and the diagnostics. We trust him completely--he has guided us through previous water problems in our older (new to us) home. Finally, a huge shout out to Jordan and Lindsey, the office staff. What an amazing team!

We have had a very unpleasant experience. The technician came out about two weeks ago and service our home. The following week we started to have some concerns due to water coming from the toilet and bathtub. Three technician came out yesterday and could not get to the solution. We were that supervisor by the name of Josh would give us a call. That has yet to happen and truly think that it want. Temperature continues to drop and we don't have access to our restroom. So for the supervisors are showing that they really don't care

I hired “Hi-Tech” to find a leak in my dad’s house and it was anything, but “Hi-tech.” The “detection” consisted of a young man listening for leaks with his ears, not so much as even a stethoscope. He said he thought the leak was somewhere between the main line coming into the house and going toward the kitchen. I have no idea where any actual leaks are or if there is more than one. He gave me several estimates to fix a leak or leaks that he had not even pinpointed. I’m not sure how you could possibly know how much a repair would cost if you hadn’t even pinpointed the problem or problems. This was a total waste of my time and money. I know no more now than when he came out. Thank you Hi-Tech for wasting my valuable time and money. This was nothing more than a money grab to pray on the ignorant. Consumer beware.

Brian was outstanding! Called before arriving. Arrived promptly and properly identified himself. Carefully explained repair options. Performed repair (which included installation of new faucet heads) skillfully. He obviously loves his craft and his years of experience shows. He represents himself and Hi-Tech Plumbing well. Highly recommend him and Hi-Tech!

He was on time. Communicated when he needed to get more parts and let us know when lunch break was going to happen. Didn't mind explaining what was going on with the job. Did stay later than his workday trying to complete the job. Always was respectful. For this large job, we felt he should have always had help. We felt he and Eric worked well together and got a lot done. We would recommend Matthew and Eric to our friends and hi tech company.

Hi-Tech is not the cheapest in town, and they’re not supposed to be. They do outstanding work, and are always upfront and transparent with costs. They give you a range of options and the tech is truly an advisor, not a salesman. Anthony did a fantastic job on my water heater replacement, and even went the extra mile making sure my vent pipe in the roof was properly sealed. If you want the job done right, and done in a timely manner, Hi Tech is the only call to make.

Josh has been fantastic! After completing the jobs Josh changed out my tankless hot water heater, a part of my manabloc system, and faucet, fixed the leak below my two bathroom sinks that were recently installed by a construction company that serve-pro sub contracted after finishing the mitigation process, and he (Josh the plumber from Hi-Tech) has not only exceeded my expectations, but made a life long customer! The way he handled things was by far the best compared to my previous experiences with plumbers and really, most businesses in the construction sector. Josh gave me detailed information about how things would progress, what exactly the issue was, and educated me on the workings of tankless water heaters as well as manbloc systems. He has evaluated my issues, my needs for my home and what requirements we have for our house, then gave me a detailed plan moving forward. Josh went into my attic, out in my yard where the water meter is, and all around my home! He was quick to look at anything I was concerned about! I have had an experience in the past where they didn’t want to go into the attic because they were sure it wasn’t there and didn’t want to walk upstairs. Which was kinda ridiculous but whatever. Not Josh! He looked at everything and was able to tell me what needed to be worked on now, replaced now, and what to watch for in the future. I can’t say enough good things about Josh, and this company! I have had so many negative experiences in the past especially with plumbing. This was refreshing to say the least! Definitely a five star! A few pictures are before and the others after.
